Starting any project from the ground up is challenging especially when designing your forever home! The best way to begin is selecting what you would like your base to be (normally start with the floor) and find other materials, products, and color schemes that compliment the base! 

When designing bathrooms in particular, you must consider who is going to be using this room. That can mean which material is durable, elegant, simple or dramatic. In general, a bathroom is a slippery place and accidents are prone to happening especially with children! Planning out your main bathroom or any bathroom that messes and slips are going to occur it is best to select a floor you can trust. 

Floors that have textures (like a leather texture or a wood like grain) are going to make it easier to grip than a flat glossy surface. Slippery surfaces and water do not mix well! 

Most, if not all, of our products are specified in the information tab if they can be applied in wet areas (shower floors, tubs, any floors, etc.). If there is a material you are unsure about and debating whether or not it can be applied on any floor especially shower floors please let us know!
